This is a drawing I did today of taxidermy eyes for birds. Taxidermy eyes are so fun, they come in so many colours and sizes with different shaped pupils. My least favourite are sheep's eyes because they have got that creepy horziontal pupil. Bleurgh.
This person is called Reid Peppard, her work is A M A Z I N G. She makes jewellery out of dead things. Check out the rats little crystal-encrusted tails. If someone buys me a ratty rosette, I will love you forever.
I am very excited about wallpaper these days. But I need to refine my methods, these are digital prints but I'm not too keen. However, as a first attempt, they're ok. I would totally have them in my house. But I say that about a lot of crap.
Most of these are digital prints, which I've decided I don't really like. They make everything all flat and rubbish. BUT we must try these things. Some have been hand screen-printed onto, embellished and embroidered. They are printed on cotton sateen.
Neglect. Here are some of my final designs that I made for my project. I'm pretty happy with what I achieved overall, so excited to be starting a new project. My tutor said that "printing mice on upholstery fabric is like putting a whoopee cushion under someone's arse" He is Scottish. I think he likes them.
